History
Bogor Science Club (BSC IPB) stands as a student organization within the IPB Graduate School, focusing on scientific pursuits. Its inception stemmed from the pressing need for a platform where graduates could engage in scientific discourse and enhance their proficiency in the English language, both in casual conversation and academic studies.
Founded by a collective of students sharing a common aspiration to foster a scientific environment at the IPB University level, BSC embodies the vision of “creating an international scientific communicator.” Established on November 11th, 2012, BSC attained official recognition as part of the IPB Graduate Student Organization on April 6th, 2013, endorsed by the Chairman of BSC and the Dean of the Graduate School at IPB. Following a consolidation process with the Dean of the IPB Graduate School and other student organizations within IPB in November 2020, BSC is currently overseen by the IPB
Postgraduate Student Forum (FORUM WACANA).
The enduring tagline of Bogor Science Club, “Inspire the future,” remains integral to its identity and mission.
